to &#8220;Hodl Asset&#8221; &#8211; and back again? The history and future of Bitcoin as a means of payment&#8221;   <\/em>held.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1476\">Bitcoin was conceived in 2008 by Satoshi Nakamoto as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system &#8211; digital cash for the internet. But what has become of this vision? <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1478\" data-end=\"1909\">In this presentation, I showed how Bitcoin has developed over time from a means of payment to a store of value &#8211; and now back to a means of payment suitable for everyday use. The stages of this journey range from the famous pizza payment in 2010, to the first acceptances by companies such as Microsoft or Expedia, to the scaling problems from 2017 &#8211; and the decisive role of the Lightning Network from 2020. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to the presentation, we were represented with a stand from Coincharge + Coinpages and showed where you can pay with Bitcoin and how you can accept Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>There was also the Lightning Day, which I was able to help organize.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]\n<p data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"208\">\u26a1 <strong data-start=\"151\" data-end=\"204\">Lightning Day at the 3rd Bitcoin Forum in Ingolstadt<\/strong> \u26a1<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"210\" data-end=\"330\">On <strong data-start=\"213\" data-end=\"241\">Saturday, October 11<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"304\" data-end=\"321\">Lightning Day<\/strong> took place as part of the <strong data-start=\"264\" data-end=\"299\">3rd Bitcoin Forum in Ingolstadt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"332\" data-end=\"427\">I organized the Lightning Day and gave several presentations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"332\" data-end=\"427\">My presentations are available as a PDF download.
